About OHR

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) provides leadership for the development, execution, and management of the human resources program to ensure the Department builds and retains a highly skilled and diverse workforce. In coordination with the Operating Divisions (OPDIVS) OHR provides human resources programs and policies developed to support and enhance the HHS mission.

Washington HR Center (WHRC)

WHRSC recruits, develops, and helps organizations retain a highly qualified, engaged and diverse workforce who carry out HHS’ mission.

Workforce Management and Vitality (WMV)

Workforce Management and Vitality’s Human Resources advisors provide subject matter expertise to improve productivity and employee engagement throughout HHS.

Executive and Scientific Resources (ESRD)

ESRD facilitates the hiring process for SES, SL, ST, and Title 42 Executive members, and helps ensure a dynamic workforce at the top levels of HHS.

HR Solutions

The HR Solutions division implements enterprise-wide interoperable capabilities for core human capital functions.
