To implement the President's Deregulatory Initiatives, including Department of Government Efficiency Deregulatory Agenda, and to better promote the health and well-being of the American people, HHS is planning the largest deregulatory effort in the history of the Department. To facilitate this effort, HHS seeks input from all interested parties on how to dramatically deregulate across all areas the Department touches. HHS also welcomes other submissions explaining how regulations, guidance, paperwork requirements, and other regulatory obligations can be repealed.
Request for Information (RFI)
To improve its regulations and eliminate confusing or conflicting rules, the HHS issued a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit input from the public. The purpose of the RFI is to gather input from the public to help identify regulations that are duplicative, unlawful, unconstitutional, burdensome, or not in the national interest. HHS is committed to ensuring its regulations are transparent, rational, and aimed at achieving legitimate government objectives.
