The HHS Center for Faith (known hereafter as "The Faith Center") is the Department’s liaison to faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship.
The Faith Center exists to assist faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship in their efforts to strengthen American families; and to engage and communicate with faith communities and grassroots organizations, ensuring that local institutions, which hold community trust, have up-to-date information regarding health and human service activities and resources in their area.
Through the Center, we work to build partnerships with faith-based entities, community organizations, and houses of worship, which help HHS serve individuals, families, and communities in need. The Faith Center works in collaboration with any and all HHS offices and agencies to extend the reach and impact of HHS-related programs into communities, as well as to encourage these valued HHS partners in their good works.
