Summaries of select case activities

OCR enforces the Federal civil rights laws in healthcare and social services that prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, or religion. Since its inception, OCR has resolved thousands of discrimination complaints across the country; and in doing so, has helped to eliminate unlawful barriers preventing individuals from accessing these important services.
