
Pajouablai Monica Lee
Director of Strategic Partnerships and Outreach, White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI)
Pajouablai Monica Lee is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Outreach at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. In this role, she supports the coordination and implementation of the Regional Network, and community engagements to advance equity, justice, and opportunity for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific islander (AA and NHPI) communities. Monica was previously a Regional Director with Made to Save – Civic Nation where she managed a portfolio of grantees focused on increasing vaccinations among BIPOC communities, particularly Indigenous communities. Prior to that, Monica held multiple roles at a national AA and NHPI civil rights organization where she managed and implemented national programs that focused on the professional and leadership development of AA and NHPI professionals and youth. Monica holds a Master of Public Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Monica is a proud daughter of her Hmong refugee parents from Laos and the St. Paul, Minnesota community where she was born and raised.
