Health Promotion and Identifying Root Causes of Chronic Disease
Public Health Reports (PHR), a peer-reviewed journal of public health research and practice, is calling for papers focused on the public health response to promote healthy lifestyles and identify the root causes of chronic disease. A broad range of related topics will be considered for publication, including the following:
- Dysmetabolic syndrome
- Insulin resistance
- Root causes of chronic inflammation
- Autoimmune disease
- Lifestyle modifications
- Oxidative stress
- Gut dysbiosis
- Health effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals
- Ultra-processed foods
- Childhood obesity
- Environmental toxins, including heavy metals and microplastics
- Infertility connections with environmental toxins
- Autism
- Mental health
- Nutrition influencing disease prevention
- Health effects of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (phthalates, PFAS, etc.)
Submission acceptance will be on a rolling basis and accepted manuscripts will be fast-tracked for publication. All submissions will undergo PHR peer review.
