Karriem S. Watson, DHSc, MS, MPH, Chief Engagement Officer of the All of Us Research Program, detailed NIH’s “All of Us” efforts to foster relationships with participants, community partners, researchers, and providers across the United States to engage and involve populations traditionally left out of medical research. Dr. Watson also addressed how the “All of Us” research aims to overcome the recruitment and inclusion challenges it has faced since its launch and highlight how it is leveraging technology to recruit traditionally underrepresented people and populations in research. This presentation was delivered at the OHRP Research Community Forum co-sponsored with Oak Ridge Associated Universities in March 2023.
