BELMONT REPORT

Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research

VIEW 25th ANNIVERSARY INTERVIEWS

OHRP commemorated the 25th anniversary of the publication of the Belmont Report — a milestone in Federal responsibility, leadership, and commitment — with a ceremony held on November 16, 2004. That event honored the writers of the Belmont Report, who were the members, consultants, and staff of the National Commission for the Protection of Human Subjects of Biomedical and Behavioral Research from 1974-78.
