OHRP Webinars on the Common Rule and Other Subparts

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services codified its regulations for the protection of human subjects in research in the code of federal regulations at 45 C.F.R. 46, which includes five subparts. The Common Rule refers to Subpart A.

Since 2022, OHRP has created a series of webinars providing detailed explanations on the applicability of the regulations. Join our listserv to get updates on latest offerings.

You can also access short videos highlighting specific changes in the revised Common Rule. These videos were released in 2018 following the publication of the revisions. They can help viewers understand the differences between the older version (pre-2018) and the current version (2018 Requirements) of the Common Rule.
