Gabriel Young
Staff Assistant, White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI)
Gabriel Young serves as a Staff Assistant at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, where he helps the Initiative to advance equity, justice, and opportunity for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AA and NHPI) communities. From San Jose, California, he is a recent Philippine American undergraduate honors student from The George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science: Public Policy Focus and International Affairs, and previously interned at the Initiative beginning in 2022.
Gabriel previously supported the National Federation for Filipino-American Associations (NaFFAA) and LEAD Filipino, interned for the mayor of San Jose as well as California Assemblymember Alex Lee, and was a Junior Summer Institute fellow at the Public Policy and International Affairs Program.
