The HHS OIG has identified the top management and performance challenges for 2022. HHS management is committed to working toward resolving these challenges. The performance measures in this document track such challenges safeguarding public health, ensuring the financial integrity of HHS programs, delivering value, quality and improved outcomes in Medicare and Medicaid, protecting the health and safety of HHS beneficiaries, harnessing data to improve the health and well-being of individuals, and improving collaboration to better serve our Nation.
