OIDP oversees four federal advisory committees that leverage expert advice to prevent infectious diseases in the United States.

Initiatives

OIDP develops, coordinates, and supports a range of infectious disease initiatives including Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S., the Minority HIV/AIDS Fund (MHAF), and actions to prevent healthcare-associated infections.
