Senior Advisor on Climate Change and Health Equity
Arsenio is Senior Advisor on Climate Change and Health Equity to the Assistant Secretary for Health. Previously, Arsenio advised California Attorney General Xavier Becerra on environmental policy and law. Prior to joining the California Department of Justice, Arsenio served as a Special Advisor to California Governor Jerry Brown to help craft climate change legislation. He also served as Assistant Secretary for Environmental Justice and Tribal Affairs at the California Environmental Protection Agency from 2011 to 2017. Arsenio graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelor’s degree in History, and went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Humphreys College School of Law.
