Technology’s Role in Making America Healthy Again: A Discussion on Mental Health & Substance Use Care

This series of roundtable discussions will examine how expanded adoption of health information technology can improve mental health and substance use care outcomes and advance the Administration's commitment to whole-person recovery.

In accordance with President Donald J. Trump's Great American Recovery Initiative and pursuant to the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Reauthorization Act of 2025 (Pub. L. No. 119-44, 139 Stat. 683), the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) will convene a landmark, all-day event to explore the role of health information technology in improving mental health treatment and fighting the disease of addiction.

Leaders in government, technology, and health care — including providers and Americans with lived experience — will come together to discuss how the Trump Administration is harnessing technology and partnerships to transform behavioral health and whole-person care.
