Question: Can the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) clarify the file naming conventions for the Preliminary Payment Reports (PPRs)?
Answer: The file naming convention for the PPR is [Trading Partner ID].[type of PPR].D150529.T124846968.T for test. The file naming convention for the PPR is [Trading Partner ID].[type of PPR].D150529.T124846968.P for Production. Type of PPR can be I820 (FFE), D820 (SBE-FP), or SI820 (SBE).
