User Enhancement Change Request (UECR): Fiscal Intermediary Shared System (FISS) - Automate Inpatient/Skilled Nursing Facility Common Working File (CWF) Alerts Received on the L1001 and L1002 Reports
The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to implement a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) request to automate the CWF L1001 and L1002 alerts. Currently, CWF adjusts or cancels the claim in CWF history and notifies the MAC via a report. The MAC manually adjusts/cancels the claim to match the updated record in CWF history.
