Updates to Nursing and Allied Health Education Medicare Advantage Payment P
Section 541 of the Balanced Budget Refinement Act (BBRA) of 1999 (P. L. 106-113), and section 512 of the Benefits Improvement and Protection Act (BIPA), (P.L. 106-554), instituted Medicare+Choice nursing and allied health payments for portions of cost reporting periods occurring on or after January 1, 2000.
