Suspicious Pharmacy Medicare Part D Billing in Texas

Guidance for: Inappropriate and suspect billing of Part D drugs to the Medicare program. On May 16, 2008, the Texas Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) and the Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General (OIG) executed a state search warrant. Due to the critical nature of this issue, CMS is alerting all Part D Sponsors of this situation. CMS requests that if you have any billing from this pharmacy, please contact Health Integrity, the South MEDIC. Please provide Health Integrity with information as soon as possible.
