Pub 100-20 One-Time Notification: RAC/Other Medicare Contractors Claims Mass Adjustments in FISS
Guidance that requires modification to shared systems to allow mass adjustments of claims identified by Recovery Audit Contractors (RAC) as overpayments. The RACs have identified large numbers of overpayments, and only some systems allow the ability to process adjustments on a mass basis.
