The CMS Center for Strategic Planning produces an annual Medicare and Medicaid Statistical Supplement report that provides detailed statistical information on Medicare, Medicaid, and other Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) programs. The Supplement includes 115 tables and 67 charts describing health expenditures for the entire U.S. population, characteristics of the Medicare and Medicaid covered populations, use of services, and expenditures under these programs. This CMS report is published annually in electronic form and is available for each year from 2001 through present. The Statistical Supplement is organized into 15 chapters which can each be downloaded and viewed separately.
