Overview
The MED online application provides the ability to download the monthly provider sanctions/reinstatements files, perform an inquiry on the excluded providers, and perform monthly matching process and administration.
Users access the site and files with IACS IDs; the files are available for download from the site or by using Gentran (soon to transition to TIBCO). Files are made available once per month. We receive our data from OIG, with the inclusion of PII such as DOB and SSN; we also populate the MED records with the NPI from NPPES, when possible.
