Carrier and Part A and Part B Medicare Administrative Contractors (A/B MACs) Implementation of Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 424.535
Title 42 CFR §424.535 (1-10) has the requirements a Medicare contractor or the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) may revoke a currently enrolled provider or supplier’s Medicare billing privileges. 42 CFR §424.535 (10)(2)(h) states a physician organization, physician, non-physician practitioner or independent diagnostic testing facility (IDTF) must submit all claims for items and services furnished within 60 calendar days of the effective date of the revocation.
