April 2023 Update of the Ambulatory Surgical Center [ASC] Payment System
The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to provide changes to and billing instructions for various payment policies implemented in the April 2023 ASC payment system update. As appropriate, this notification also includes updates to the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS). This Recurring Update Notification (RUN) applies to Chapter 14, Section 40 of Publication (Pub.) 100-04.
