Question: Are issuers required to provide research on all overlapping claims identified, or only claims that, in the issuer's judgement, should not cause a payment adjustment?

Answer: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will provide guidelines on detailed reporting of issuer research and completion of the Overlapping Claims Web Form at a later date.
