Guidance for FAQ regarding Payment Processing and General Information

Question: Which issuers should submit payee group and banking information to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in order to receive Advance Premium Tax Credits (APTC) and advance Cost-sharing Reduction (CSR) amounts on behalf of enrollees?

Answer: Federally-facilitated Marketplace (FFM) and State Based Marketplace (SBM) Issuers, Issuers of pediatric Stand-alone Dental Plans (SADPs) and Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Issuers that also provide Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) in the individual Marketplace should submit the requested documentation because they may be eligible to receive APTC and CSR payments on behalf of enrollees.
