Question: Can submitters send encrypted emails containing the Enrollment and Payment Data Template to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)?
Answer: Submitters must follow the instructions provided by CMS, including populating and submitting their password-protected Template through MarketplacePayments@cms.hhs.gov in order to receive payments. CMS sends the password-protected file to submitters, who then complete and submit it according to CMS-provided directions.
