Guidance for FAQ regarding Payment Processing and Other
Program Area: Vendor Management, Payments, and Collections (VMPC)
Question: How will the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) acknowledge receipt of issuer Payment and Enrollment data submissions?
Answer: Issuers will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt of their Enrollment and Payment Data Template and Submission Certification Form. Additionally, CMS will send a validation report to issuers after review of their submissions. CMS will communicate with issuer points of contact pass/fail status, resubmission requests and any additional requests.
