Guidance for FAQ regarding 820 Transaction and Processing
Program Area: Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP)
Question: What is the schedule for 820-based payments for SHOP? What about any late payments received by the FF-SHOP? Will these payments be sent on separate 820 transmissions?
Answer: CMS plans to remit all payments received to Issuers on a weekly basis. 820 transactions will be sent every time a payment is remitted to Issuers.
