Guidance for FAQ regarding 834 Transaction and Maintenance Transaction
Program Area: Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP)
Question: Will there be additional information available regarding ongoing group enrollment maintenance during the plan year? Specifically, how will changes to enrollment (new hires/terminations, etc.) be handled?
Answer: Information included in the initial group enrollment may be updated during the year. Changes to enrollment and other member-level changes will be handled through the 834 enrollment transaction.
