Question: Does the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) allow carriers to interact with Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) groups to gain information for reporting purposes?

Answer: CMS is sending group size information to issuers on Group XML files. Thus, interaction with groups for reporting purposes should not be necessary.
