Guidance for FAQ regarding 834 Transaction and Effectuation Transaction

Question: Does the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) expect the Payment Transaction ID passed in the Group XML schema to be returned in the 834 Effectuation file?
Answer: The 834 X12 file will also contain the Payment Transaction ID. This information should be returned in the 834 Effectuation File.
