Guidance for FAQ regarding 834 Transaction and Initial Transaction

Question: Will the termination dates for enrollees be populated on the ASC X12 834 enrollment transaction file or will they remain open until enrollees terminate?

Answer: No termination dates are sent on initial enrollment transactions. The termination date field in the ASC X12 834 enrollment transaction file will remain open until the enrollment is terminated.
