Guidance for FAQ regarding 834 Transaction and Companion Guide

Question: How many 834 files will an issuer receive, if the issuer operates in multiple states in both the Federally-facilitated Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) and Individual Marketplace?
Answer: The FF-SHOP will send one file per Trading Partner, regardless of whether or not an issuer is operating in more than one state. The FF-SHOP will separate files by Marketplace, sending one file for the FF-SHOP and one file for the FFM Individual Marketplace.
