Question: Is the rating area on the 834 based on the Employer's Rating Area or based on where the Subscriber lives?
Answer: Employer rates (both inside and outside the Small Business Health Options Program [SHOP]) are always based on the primary business address of the employer and not on the home address of employees and dependents.
