Guidance for FAQ regarding Agents/Brokers and Registration and Profile Set-up
Program Area: Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP)
Question: Are issuer in-house sales staff required to execute the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Privacy and Security Agreement or can the issuer rely on Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance of the organization?
Answer: All Agent/Brokers (including issuer in-house staff) who wish to participate in the FF-SHOP Marketplace, must complete all required registration requirements.
