Risk Corridors (RC) FAQ
Guidance for FAQ regarding Calculations and Other
Program Area: Risk Corridors (RC)
Question: If an organization has multiple entities within one (1) State, should issuers report the aggregated Risk Corridor calculation of all entities, or report the Risk Corridor calculation separately for each entity?
Answer: The Risk Corridors calculation is performed separately for each legal entity that is licensed to sell insurance in a market (individual or small group) in a state. Although the calculation is performed at the issuer level, the report of Risk Corridors data may be submitted by a parent company for all of its QHP issuers.
