Guidance for FAQ regarding Edge Server Operations and Data Submission - Other

Program Area: Distributed Data Collection (DDC) for RA Including HCRP/EDGE Server

Question: Can issuers report their local time when submitting files to the EDGE server?

Answer: There is no time zone requirement. Issuers may choose the appropriate time zone based on their business needs. It is important to note that the CMS host is located in the US Eastern Time zone. Issuers who use GMT may experience rejection of files if the file generation time on the submitted file is later than Eastern Time at the time of file submission.
