Distributed Data Collection (DDC) for RA Including HCRP/EDGE Server FAQ
Guidance for FAQ regarding Edge Server Operations and Reports
Program Area: Distributed Data Collection (DDC) for RA Including HCRP/EDGE Server
Question: Do outbound files, sent from the edge server, contain a naming convention explaining the file name and type (e.g., header, details, etc.) ?
Answer: The type of outbound file could be determined through the 'FileTypeCode', which is described in Section 6 of the Interface Control Document (ICD). The 'FileTypeCode' will indicate whether the file type is an accept/reject report for enrollees or claims (pharmacy or medical), and whether the file is a detailed or summary error report. Pleae refer to the ICD located at https//www.REGTAP.info for specific information on the file naming convention.
