Question: Will there be penalties for Issuers submitting data after the quarter or annual deadlines?
Answer: CMS has established the rules for failure to comply with HHS-operated risk adjustment and reinsurance data requirements in the Program Integrity Final Rule under 45 CFR 153.740(a). You can find the Program Integrity Final Rule at http://www.ofr.gov/OFRUpload/OFRData/2013-25326_PI.pdf.
