Program Area: Distributed Data Collection (DDC) for RA Including HCRP/EDGE Server
Question: Should issuers place all medical and pharmacy data for Risk Adjustment eligible plans on the Edge Server, or only data applicable to an HCC?
Answer: Issuers should submit all claims to the Edge Server. Issuers should not filter claims since claims are used for both risk adjustment and reinsurance, and filtering will likely remove relevant claims for one or both programs.
