Question: Can the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services provide information on how the Prescription Service Number is used on EDGE Server Pharmacy Claim Submission (ESPCS) files?

Answer: The Prescription Service Reference Number is one (1) of the eight (8) key elements used to identify a claim that should be voided or replaced.
