Question: When can the Dispensing Status field be blank for the Pharmacy ICD?
Answer: Issuers who do not capture the dispensing status may submit a blank. A blank implies a single complete fill was performed. As outlined in the Edge Server Business Rules, a P indicator is used for a partial fill and a C indicator is used for the completion of a partial fill.
