Question: Is there a duplicate check performed for supplemental diagnosis records?

Answer: As stated in the current version of the EDGE Server Business Rules (ESBR), to ensure that only one version of an active supplemental diagnosis detail record is stored on the EDGE server, duplicate checks will be performed. The duplicate checks are located in the Duplicate Supplemental Diagnosis Code Detail Records section. For additional information, please review the EDGE Server Business Rules (ESBR), located under the Distributed Data Collection (DDC) program area at https://www.REGTAP.info in the REGTAP Library.
