Update to Pub 100-04, Chapter 18 - Preventive and Screening Services
The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to update Publication 100-04, Medicare Claims Processing Manual, Chapter 18, Section 210 to incorporate Place of Service (POS) code 19 (Off Campus-Outpatient Hospital) as an approved setting for Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) screening services. Additionally, this CR adds the new Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code G0567 for HCV screening procedures.
