Description: El Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos de los Estados Unidos anunció hoy que está preparando y encargándose de subvencionar envíos de hemoderivado, los cuales saldrán del territorio continental de Estados Unidos con destino a Puerto Rico con el objetivo de proporcionar un suministro de sangre no contaminada a los residentes de la isla, puesto que en la Mancomunidad de Puerto Rico se está produciendo una transmisión activa del virus a través de los mosquitos. El primer envío de hemoderivados llegó a Puerto Rico el sábado 5 de marzo.
