OPPS Pass-through and New Technology Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) Assignment Under the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)
Applications for OPPS Pass-through and New Technology Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) Assignment Under the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) are now being accepted in the new electronic application intake system, Medicare Electronic Application Request Information SystemTM (MEARISTM). Please submit your application package through the appropriate module:
Device Pass-through, Drug and Biological Pass-through, or New Technology Ambulatory Payment Classification.
Go to https://mearis.cms.gov to register/log in, and submit your application for:
- OPPS Device Pass-Through
- OPPS Drug and Biological Pass-Through; or
- OPPS New Technology APC
Only applications submitted through MEARISTM will be accepted.
