Final

Issued by: Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) believes that nursing home consumers (residents, families, advocates) should have control over their lives, influence decisions which affect them, and know that their opinions and preferences matter. CMS has developed this Consumer Engagement page as a repository for tools and resources designed for consumers who want to take an active role in their nursing home quality, and for providers who recognize consumers as partners in QAPI. More tools and resources will be added as they become available.
