C2. What is the role of the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP)?

NVLAP, as administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is responsible for accrediting and overseeing testing laboratories in the ONC Health IT Certification Program.
