Presidential Champions Background

Presidential Champions was established in 2003 as part of the President’s Challenge Physical Activity & Fitness Awards Program. In August 2016, the President’s Challenge closed and an announcement was made that Presidential Champions would transition to USDA’s SuperTracker platform. SuperTracker was the online home of the program from January 2017 to June 2018.

The Presidential Champions program awarded participants for reaching one of four different award levels: Bronze – 40,000 points; Silver – 90,000 points; Gold – 160,000 points; Platinum – 1,000,000 points.

PCSFN congratulates all Presidential Champions participants for their personal achievements using the program, and will continue to share information and resources to motivate individuals to make regular physical activity a permanent part of a healthy, active lifestyle.
