OAH awards $21.3M in Grants to States and Tribes to Support Expectant and Parenting Teens, Women, Fathers, and Families

The Office of Adolescent Health (OAH) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced today the award of $21,307,845 for 23 grants to states and tribes through the OAH Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) Program to improve the educational, health, social, and economic outcomes for expectant and parenting teens, women, fathers and their families. The grants start on July 1, 2018.

Recipients establish, maintain, or operate expectant and parenting student services in high schools, community service centers, and/or Institutions of Higher Education (IHE); improve services for pregnant women who are victims of domestic violence; and increase public awareness and education concerning the services available to expectant and parenting teens, women, fathers, and their families.
